Key of Life
The Values-Based Decision Matrix

Unlock your next step.

Decisions get stuck when we weigh them against our mood, our to-do list, or what everyone else expects. Those things change by the hour. Your core values don't. This is the filter Heba teaches inside Mindset Groups, made interactive: name what you're weighing, run it through your values, and land on a clear next step.

Your values are the roots. The seasons will change, and with them your priorities, but the values remain steady. When you hold a decision up to them, you begin to see what truly matters now.

Every choice lands in one of four places:

HONOR

It reflects who you are. Do it with confidence.

NURTURE

It grows what matters. Invest in it, even if it isn't urgent.

SIMPLIFY

Useful but not aligned. Make it easier or hand it off.

RELEASE

It drains or distracts you. Let it go and free the room.

About 5 minutes, and nothing leaves your device. A reflection tool, not advice.
Step 1 · Your roots

What are your core values?

Pick the three to five that feel most essential to who you are. There's no right list, only yours. If a word you need isn't here, add it.

  • What moments in your life have felt most meaningful?
  • What do you fiercely protect?
  • What do you want to model for others?

Choose at least one to continue.

Step 2 · Your season

Where are you right now?

The same values ask different things of you depending on your season. There's no wrong place to be. Naming it just helps you stop judging yourself for the season you're not in.

Step 3 · The decision

What are you working through?

Two ways to use the matrix. Pick the one that fits what's on your mind.

Step 4

Run it through your values.

Answer honestly.

Let your values lead. In a minute you went from stuck to a named next step. That clarity is the method, and it's what Mindset Groups keeps alive: live check-ins, ongoing tracking between sessions, and a matched partner and small group who cheer you on and hold you to what matters most.

A gentle note. The Values-Based Decision Matrix is a reflection tool, not professional, legal, medical, or financial advice. It simply mirrors back a direction drawn from your own values and gut instinct, as a starting point for your own thinking. The choice, and the responsibility for it, always stays with you.
