These Terms govern your use of yourkeyoflife.com and your purchase of programs from Key of Life Ventures LLC ("Key of Life," "we," "us"). By using the site or enrolling, you agree to these Terms.
What we offer
Key of Life provides mindset coaching, group programs (Mindset Groups), Healthstarter 1:1 health coaching, the Eight Moments journal, and strategy consulting for small businesses. Our programs are educational and supportive in nature. They are not medical, psychological, or therapeutic treatment. Please see our Disclaimer.
Enrollment & payment
- Program fees are shown in U.S. dollars and are charged at enrollment through our payment processor, Stripe.
- Mindset Groups runs as an 8-week cohort. Healthstarter 1:1 is a separate three-month program of six private sessions, enrolled after a free consultation call.
- The Eight Moments journal is required for Mindset Groups and is purchased separately (currently on Amazon). It is included with Healthstarter 1:1.
- Installment options (such as Klarna or Affirm) are offered through third parties and subject to their terms.
- If you pay in installments through us and a payment is missed, access to sessions pauses until it is paid. The full program balance remains owed.
- Consulting and strategy sessions are paid in advance by invoice.
If we change a cohort
If we reschedule or cancel a cohort, you may move to the next cohort at no extra cost or receive a full refund of your program fee.
Refund guarantee
14-Day Conditional Guarantee. We want you fully in, not stuck. You may request a full refund if, within 14 days of your cohort's start date, you have (a) attended your first scheduled session and (b) completed your initial assigned tasks and tracking, and it is genuinely not the right fit for you.
The following conditions apply so the guarantee stays fair for everyone:
- Requests must be made in writing to contact@keyoflifeventures.com within the 14-day window.
- One refund per person.
- The Eight Moments journal, purchased separately through Amazon, is subject to Amazon's return policy and is not refundable by Key of Life.
- For Healthstarter 1:1, the value of any private sessions already held is deducted from the refund.
- After the 14-day window, program fees are non-refundable. In cases of genuine hardship, we will always try to work with you in good faith.
Consulting and strategy sessions are non-refundable once delivered.
If you have a concern about a charge, please contact us first so we can make it right. Most issues are resolved quickly by email.
Your commitments
To get the most from the program and to keep the space supportive for all members, you agree to attend your sessions, engage honestly, keep what is shared in the group confidential, and treat fellow members and Heba with respect. We may remove anyone whose conduct harms the group, without refund beyond the guarantee terms above.
Scheduling & missed sessions
Sessions are held virtually so you can join from anywhere. If you must miss a group session, notes are shared afterward.
For Healthstarter 1:1 and consulting sessions, please give at least 24 hours' notice to reschedule. A session missed without notice counts as used. Healthstarter 1:1 sessions are meant to be used within the three-month program; any extension is at our discretion.
Cohort and private sessions are never recorded, to keep the space comfortable and confidential. Free public workshops may be recorded, and only short clips that do not identify participants are shared.
Your health and results
Your results depend on your own effort and circumstances, and no specific outcome is guaranteed. Please check with your doctor before starting any new movement, nutrition, or lifestyle change, especially if you have a health condition, are pregnant, or take medication. You take part in any physical activity at your own risk.
Intellectual property
All content, frameworks, methods, and materials created by Key of Life, including the Eight Moments journal, the Values-Based Decision Matrix, the Mindset Groups method, the Healthstarter program and its Four Pillars framework, and our names and logo, are the proprietary property of Key of Life Ventures LLC, protected by copyright and trademark. They are licensed to you for your own personal use only. You may not copy, reproduce, resell, redistribute, publish, or share them, and you may not use them, in whole or in part, to create, teach, or operate a competing program, product, or service, or to train any automated system. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Key of Life is not liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or participation in our programs. Our total liability will not exceed the amount you paid us for the program in question.
Indemnification
You agree to hold Key of Life harmless from claims arising from your misuse of the site or materials or your breach of these Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
Resolving disputes
If a disagreement comes up, we both agree to first try to resolve it informally by contacting each other in writing and allowing 30 days to work it out.
Severability
If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date above reflects the latest version.
