A free 60-minute live workshop on Zoom

You are not stuck because you need more information.

Most of us aren't stuck because we don't have enough information. We're stuck because we never got clear on what we're actually optimizing for, so every option looks about equally defensible and we go looking for one more opinion instead.

On September 25 I'm walking through the Values-Based Decision Matrix, the tool I built for exactly this. Bring a real decision. We'll run it through the matrix together and you'll leave with it filled in.

Decide with Your Values

Sound Familiar?

You have been circling the same decision for months.

“

You have asked four people what they would do, and now you have four answers and less clarity than when you started.

“

You made the pro and con list. Both columns came out about even, so you closed the notebook.

“

You keep telling yourself you'll decide once things calm down, and things have not calmed down.

When every option looks equally defensible, that is not an information problem. It is a values problem, and it is fixable in about an hour.

What We'll Actually Do

This is a working session, not a talk.

You will have the matrix open in front of you and we will fill it in together, on your own real decision.

1

Name the decision properly. Half of the paralysis comes from the fact that the question you're asking yourself isn't the real question.

2

Get your values out of your head and onto the page, in order. This is the part almost nobody has ever done, and it's why the rest stays stuck.

3

Score each option against what you just said matters, rather than against what other people would be impressed by.

4

Read what the matrix tells you, including what to do when the answer it gives you is not the one you were hoping for.

Bring a real decision

Anything you're genuinely weighing. A job or a move or a relationship, or something as small as whether to commit to a workout schedule you keep almost starting. Small decisions work just as well for learning the tool, and the tool works just as well on the big ones.

  • Registration asks what decision you're bringing, so come with one in mind.
  • Have something to write with, on paper or on screen.
  • Come with your questions too. I'm saving real time at the end for them.
  • There's no replay, so put it in your calendar now. I record a few short, non-identifying clips for social, and nothing you share in the room goes anywhere.
The Tool

The Values-Based Decision Matrix is one of the frameworks my Mindset Groups members work with all season.

I built it because I kept watching capable people stall out in front of choices they were more than qualified to make. It is not a personality test and it does not decide for you. It makes the trade-off you are already making visible, so you can own it instead of avoiding it.

Members use it on the goal they set for their cohort, then keep using it long after the eight weeks are done. September 25 is the first time I'm walking a room through it live.

Try it now

The matrix is already on the site

You can open it and start filling it in before the workshop. If you do, bring what you got stuck on. Those are usually the most useful questions in the room.

Your Host

Heba has spent years helping people close the gap between who they are and who they're becoming.

As a Registered Yoga Teacher, certified personal trainer, and the founder of Mindset Groups, Heba changed her own mindset from fixed to growth after a personal health crisis, and rebuilt her life from the inside out. The matrix came out of that work, and out of several years of coaching people through decisions they had been carrying far too long.

Before You Register

The things people usually want to know.

Do I have to talk or turn my camera on?

No. You can work through your own matrix quietly the whole time and never say a word. Some people share their decision and get the room's input, and that is genuinely useful, but it is entirely your call.

What if my decision feels too small?

Small is better for learning the tool. Whether to commit to a workout schedule is a real decision, and the matrix works the same way on it as on a career move. You will know how to use it on the big one when it comes.

What if I can't make it live?

There is no replay, so the hour only works if you can be there. If September 25 doesn't work, the matrix is free on the site any time, and I'd rather you use it than sit on a recording you never open.

Is this going to be a sales pitch?

No. We spend the hour filling in your matrix. I'll mention that the same framework runs through my Mindset Groups cohorts, because it does, and then we get back to your decision.

The Next Step

Mindset Groups

The workshop hands you the tool. A Mindset Groups cohort gives you the eight weeks, the hand-matched accountability partner, and the six live sessions that turn a decision into something you actually follow through on. The fall cohort starts Friday, October 9, and enrollment closes Friday, October 2.
